I have spent the last 20+ years in retail helping and inspiring women to look and feel their best. The greatest joy of my career has been working with and developing the young women who have worked for me over the years to become more confident in themselves and develop their skills and become amazing Mothers, Nurses, Doctors, Attorneys, Teachers, Retail Managers and on and on. I have been so blessed by each and every one of them and they have made me a better Manager and Mentor.
Family has always been #1 in my life and I am so grateful for my amazing husband of 22 years and my son who is now grown, married and a father. I always thought my only purpose in life was to be a wife and mother. But now I know through self-discovery and A LOT of prayer that GOD needs me to be here for all women in this journey we call life.

Kathy has spent most of her life encouraging and empowering women and children to reach their full potential. She owned and operated Kreative Kids Daycare for 12 Years. She dedicated her attention to loving, teaching and nurturing children of all ages. They became a part of her family immediately and they forged a strong bond forever. She watched them grow from babies into thriving young adults and is fortunate to have most of them still in her life today.
During the period she worked at Dressbarn her mission was to help women look and feel beautiful. Her goal was to give them self confidence to empower them to reach for the stars and realize their self worth. Seeing a huge smile on their face when they realized their inner and outer beauty was immensely satisfying.
Kathy has been a volunteer at The Wait House in Glens Falls for the past 10 years. This is a local organization that provides housing and coping skills for minors and unwed mothers. It is very important to her because of her love for children and their right to deserve a fighting chance. The Wait House takes them in, provides free housing and food, teaches them the essentials needed to survive on their own and helps them transition into a new life.
Kathy has also been a volunteer for Make - A - Wish for the past 10 years. It is very important to her that these children have hope and happiness in their young lives. They need to see the good in the world and to know how many people care and pray for them. I have seen first hand the difference a little kindness from friends, relatives and strangers can make. It teaches them at a young age how important it is to help others and the joy it brings to the people that are giving.
Kathy accepted the position on Hope for a Women’s Heart as another way to make a difference in the lives of women. This is a perfect platform to encourage others through the word of God and to make a positive impact on others. It’s an amazing opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and be able to contribute her attributes and experience with others.
Kathy spends her free time with her family of children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and spouse. She loves to bake, garden, read, do crafts and participate in spiritual activities.
